Lady Beavers fall to Hutchinson Community College 3-0

Hutchinson, Kan., -- Thursday night the Lady Beavers took on the Blue Dragons from Hutchinson Community College.
 
The Lady Beavers started off slowly once again and went down 1 -0 in game one with a score of 12 – 25.  Game 2 was close throughout but Hutch pulled away on a couple of Beaver errors to win it 19 – 25.  Game 3 started off tight and stayed that way until late, when the Dragons pulled away with a 17 – 25 win for a 3- 0  match victory. 
 
The loss evens the Lady Beavers conference record at 1 – 1 and an overall record of 4 – 5.  The Lady Beavers next play at Seward on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. in Liberal, Kan. 
 
The Lady Beavers then travel to Barton CC on Wednesday night for a 6:30 p.m. match and finish the long road trip week in Oklahoma against Seminole State and Jefferson College from Missouri. 
 
The Lady Beavers will return home on September 17 with a conference match against Cloud Community College at 6:30 p.m. in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena.
