As a member of the tradition-rich Jayhawk West Conference, the PCC Men’s Basketball Team, with head coach Jesse Shaw, will look to establish itself as an annual contender for the conference and regional championship. The  coaching staff here at PCC prides themselves in their ability to recruit talented, quality individuals to represent the school and community. PCC Basketball also takes pride in molding their student-athletes into next-level caliber players on the court, and men ready for life off of it.

Undermanned Beaver's lose two games

 

The themes of the year for Pratt Community College’s men’s basketball team are never being at full strength and heartbreak city.
The team got taken behind the woodshed during the second half Friday night by a good Seward County Saints team at home, in the Beaver Dome.

Short-handed Beavers lose to Colby

The Pratt Community College men’s basketball team traveled to Colby Jan. 30 a little short-handed with Aaron Abram, Kazmere Boyd and Randall Rogers out, and the Trojans managed their first win of the conference season beating the Beaver’s 65-69.
 
This loss dropped the team 12-10 on the year and 2-6 in conference play.

Beavers drop in overtime to the Grizzlies

Well, the competitiveness of Saturday’s contest with the Butler Grizzlies did not disappoint, but the final score did. The Beaver men’s basketball team played its second consecutive overtime contest, but went home Saturday unhappy with the score reading 58-64 Bad Guys in overtime, and we moved to 12-7 on the year and 2-3 in Jayhawk West action.

The Beaver Men's basketball players had somewhat of a stressful exciting past week. After a good win last Saturday against Dodge City, the Beavers traveled to Garden City Wednesday night to take on the Broncbusters. The Beavers seized control early in the game, in large part to Aaron Abram's 17 points, and went in to halftime up 32-25. Beaver Men's Basketball Win First Conference Game

Your Beaver men's basketball team struggled out of the gates Saturday night in the Beaver Dome against an undersized, but tough and talented Dodge City Conquistador team. In the end we had to play a little smaller group than we were accustomed to, but that group grinded out some stops the last 10 minutes of the game, and went home happy with our first conference win of the year.
