Spirit Squad

The Spirit Squad encompasses both cheer, which is composed of up to 30 men and women, and dance, which consists of up to 20 women.  The squads are selected each spring to participate the following academic year.  The Spirit Squad performs at all home basketball games.  Scholarships are available for each athlete.

Spirit Squad members must maintain a cumulative and semester grade point average of 2.00. Freshmen applicants must meet all admission requirements of the institution.  Members must maintain a full-time course load (16 credit hours) in order to be eligible.  Other eligibility requirements include participation in scheduled practices, as well as a camp prior to the beginning of classes in August.
