The new team is on campus and ready for the 2012-2013 season to get under way. This group hopes to continue to build on the success Coach Thompson's teams have built over the last 4 years, winning more games every season under her guidance.

Women defeat Allen County in a close one, 57-54 Beavers

Last night the Beavers were back at home against a much improved Allen County. In the first half Pratt did a great job on the defensive end of limiting Allen to one look and forcing tough shots, holding the Red Devils to 6 of 30 from the field (shooting 20 percent). Women defeat Bethany, move to 4-0 on season

The Women’s team also played their home opener this Saturday night as they took on Bethany Junior Varsity. It was a good chance for the Beavers to clean some things up before a tough upcoming schedule.

Women topple Hesston in overtime, 3-0 on the year

The Women’s Basketball team traveled to Hesston for their first true road game on
Tuesday, Nov. 6. The Larks were 2-0 and came in averaging 85 points per game. It
was their “community night” which meant free admission for anyone in town and
was a good basketball environment.

Lady Beavers pick up two road wins, 2-0 on the season

The Lady Beavers traveled to Hutchinson, Kan. this weekend to kick off the season. Friday afternoon, the Beavers tipped off the 2012-13 campaign against the Labette Cardinals.
 
Pratt jumped out to a quick start behind Maddie Pendry’s long range shooting. Pendry hit two quick 3-pointers and was fouled on another and converted all 3 free-throws.

Stein Selected as KBCA All-Star

Elle Stein, an incoming freshman from Spearville, KS, was selected to play in the KBCA All-Star game in Topeka. The game took place on August 1, 2012 on the campus of Washburn University. The KBCA is the most respected all-star game in the state of Kansas and featured players heading to Kansas State, Division II's, and Juco's from across the state.
