I earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Emporia State University in 1999 and a M.S. in Mathematics from Kansas State University in 2001. From there I began a teaching career.

Our family's activities mainly include attending college events and chasing after our children.

I have been teaching math at a community college for the past eight years. I taught for three years at Coffeyville Community College and am starting my sixth year here at PCC.
I have been married for ten years. My husband Mike is also an instructor here at PCC. We have three beautiful girls who keep us very busy.

The best thing about working at PCC is the family-like atmosphere. Everyone is familiar with one another and cares about each other's well-being.
- Advice for prospective students
Be aware that college classes take more time and effort than high school courses. Be prepared to spend time [outside of class] studying and working in order to earn good grades and be prepared for continuing at a four year institution. As an adult, time-management is completely up to you!
